All songs from Something for Everybody except I Slipped I Stumbled I Fell were recorded at RCA's Nashville studios on March 12 and 13, 1961. Originally, the back cover had a photograph from the movie Wild in the Country, as well as advertisements for the EP Elvis by Request and the Compact 33 single Wild in the Country / I Feel so Bad. Throughout the years, advertisements for other records have appeared. For example, the second pressing contained an ad for the Viva Las Vegas EP and the third pressing advertised two gospel LPs and the Elvis TV Special.
